There’s new video of Whitney Houston singing on the set of Sparkle and bonding with her co-stars.
Like any true diva, Whitney wanted to look her best for the interview with "Entertainment Tonight." Just before the chat, the singer had been rocking curlers in her hair for a scene that she had just finished shooting, and she insisted on getting camera-ready before talking to reporters.
"ET" also got a chance to catch Whitney singing on the set. The scene was set in a church with a very special name that served to bond her even more to Sparkle. In the clip, Whitney’s voice resonates with the soulful sound that so many people loved.
Her role in the film was heavily based in the church, as Whitney herself was in real life. And she took the role of cast mom very seriously, even censoring what her younger co-stars such as Jordin Sparks might listen to on the set.
