‘Basketball Wives’ avoid tussle in Tahiti

Tami Roman, who caused a raucous in Rome last season on “Basketball Wives,” got into a little tiff in Tahiti with co-star Kesha Nichols.

While the ladies of “Basketball Wives” were vacationing on the island, Tami reportedly got into an argument with new cast member Kesha whom Tami accused of talking behind others’ backs, according to TMZ.

Kesha eventually left the conversation and her purse behind, but Tami wasn’t going to let her off that easy. Determined to finish the conversation later, Tami held the purse hostage in hopes Kesha would return.

Instead of confronting Tami, who went back to her hotel room with the purse, Kesha got hotel security involved. Before the local police were called, “BBW” producers were able to persuade Tami to give the purse back.

Tami is no stranger to international incidents. On season 3, she pounced on Meeka Claxton while in Italy. Fortunately, this time around no punches were thrown.

Tami told DJ Cherry Martinez that Kesha is really “meek” and has no opinion an anything.

“For me, the type of person that I am, you can not say something, but you definitely have an opinion, you know what I mean? So you can speak your opinion, you can speak on how you feel, and at this juncture, she hasn’t even done that. So that’s not somebody I can really be around,” Tami said.

While several of the show’s stars have resorted to physical attacks in the past, it looks like they’re depending more on their accessories to do the dirty work this season.

In December at Shaunie O’Neal’s birthday dinner, Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams apparently got into a heated argument. Allegedly, Evelyn hit Jennifer in the head with her purse.
