Tisha Campbell-Martin took to Twitter to voice her frustration over recent reports that place her husband square in the middle of the drama between Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
“Usually I ignore negativity, but I’m tired of the media attacking TheSmiths. They’re an amazing couple n I wish ppl wld stop perpetuatin LIES,” she wrote.
Adding fuel to fiery rumors that have been smoldering for years, a recent story in Star magazine suggests that a same-sex affair between Will and Tisha’s husband, Duane Martin, is the cause of the alleged trouble in the Smiths’ marriage.
In September, Tisha, who’s been married to Duane for more than two decades, told Sister 2 Sister, “We are so incredibly committed to our spouses, and we work really hard in every single facet of our relationships.”
When the news of trouble in the Smiths’ marriage first broke, it was rumored that Jada was unfaithful and had an off-screen romance with “HawtoRNe” co-star Mark Anthony. Now, Star points the finger at Will.
Rumors of down-low gay relationships in Hollywood aren’t anything new. Most celebrities refuse to even dignify the gossip with a response, but Duane and Tisha did deny the rumors back in 2007.
“We’re forgiving of the people writing this bull$#it,” Duane told Essence. “They don’t know any better.”
