Tionna Smalls bashes ‘BBW’

Tionna Smalls is tuning out whenever "Basketball Wives" comes on because she thinks it makes you stupid.

"I don’t watch ‘Basketball Wives’ anymore for the simple fact that it lowers your IQ," she told Vibe Vixen. "I watched the show because my fans loved it and to watch with them, but I don’t like anyone on that show. "

In her estimation, Shaunie O’Neal and her creware all putting on a big act to make themselves seem at least a little badder than they actually are. "Everyone [on the show] plays too tough," Tionna said. "Staring at a bunch of weak b-tches all day? I don’t have time for that."

Tionna really takes exception to the images being shown on "Basketball Wives" and what glorifying the series means for young women. Not only does she think it turns your brain into mush, she charges that it actually prompts girls to act less than ladylike.

"Shows like that are turning our children into whores. I am finding that they are turning your kids in obsessive angry whores," she put it a little more bluntly.
Although the love coach knows that drama sells, she was disappointed to find out that networks aren’t interested in reality shows where women take on more positive, leadership roles.  She learned that very disheartening lesson when she sold a series of her own, which was to be titled "Boss Chick."

"People don’t want to see women getting money; they want to see us f-ck rappers and get money from players," Tionna explained, stating that this logic could be one of the reasons that her friend Meeka Claxton was not brought back for another season. "Meeka Claxton has a wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters and she lives in a mansion in Long Island. She’s doing it, and the reason why they don’t want her on the show is because they don’t want to show that."

Tionna continued, "They want to show b!*ches renting out condos. They don’t really have the best interest of black women on that show in mind."
