Bobby Brown spent a little time in jail Monday following an arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to sources, Bobby was initially pulled over because he was using his cellular phone while driving. It was then that authorities caught the scent of alcohol on his breath, but after being tested, it was determined that the R&B singer was sober enough to drive.
Bobby, who is rumored to have been drinking beer earlier on Monday, was only held for 30 minutes before being released, a source told Sister 2 Sister.
The “Don’t Be Cruel” singer recently lost both of his parents and ex-wife Whitney Houston.
In addition to the devastating losses, some have even pointed the finger at Bobby, blaming him for the untimely death of his ex-wife whose drowning death involved drug use, according to reports.
Oh, and let’s not forget that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is rumored to be changing her last name to Houston—in honor of her mother—and reportedly dating a guy who is as close as a sibling to her. That’s a lot for any one person to handle.
Bobby already has one DUI on his record. The New Edition band member was convicted of the crime in 1996 and served 8 days in jail, according to TMZ.
