Tami Roman is recovering after suffering a mild heart attack, which means she’s got to cut back on Twitter.
The "Basketball Wives" star was rushed to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles yesterday. This medical emergency came on the heels of news that she was being sued by hair extension company Créme de la Créme.
Hours before the heart attack, Tami informed her followers on Twitter that something was wrong with her, but that she still planned to do some work after a little rest.
"Not feeling so well but I hope u enjoyed the episode. Gonna try to catch a re-run and collect my thoughts to blog," Tami tweeted just before 1 a.m. (EST). Tami’s camp said she is doing fine now, though.
"She has since been released and would like to let her fans and supporters know she is doing fine and looks forward to resuming her scheduled engagements," her rep said in statement. "She will also be back on twitter communicating with her followers shortly.”
Later that day, Tami was indeed tweeting again and gave her followers an update on her condition. "Thx 2every1 for the get well wishes. Never thought I’d have a mild heart attack at 41," she wrote. "God has a way of bringing things into perspective. Finally going home 2my kids-heart meds and all."
The reality star did say, though, that she won’t be posting as many updates. "I’m off twitter 4 awhile, no stress recovery," Tami explained. "But I appreciate ALL the positive energy & the negative 1′s-get a life-I sure appreciate mine."
