Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones may be leaving "Love & Hip Hop" behind for their own show!
A source told MouthToEars.com that the couple is indeed getting a spin-off, which has been "green-lighted by VH1 for five to seven 30-minute episodes of straight Jones." Supposedly Jim and Chrissy are now filming the show under the working title "Jim and the Family Jones."
What’s not clear is whether Jim and Chrissy, who were central to "Love & Hip Hop," will be returning to their first VH1 series.
According to the source, Jim and Chrissy refused to work with "Love & Hip Hop" producer Mona Scott-Young on their new show and they requested that she not be involved in production. Of course, Jim’s mom, Nancy Jones, who was supposed to be getting her own show, will also be making appearance on the spin-off.
