After just one week in theaters, there’s gossip that Think Like a Man will get a sequel.
HumorMillMag.com reports that Screen Gems may greenlight a follow-up to the hilarious romantic comedy starring Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy and Kevin Hart (to name just a few in the all-star cast).
The blockbuster hit was based on Steve Harvey’s advice book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, but if a sequel does come together, it seems it won’t be based on Steve Harvey’s second book. Supposedly, the plot for the rumored sequel could be about marriage and the script could include a guy’s trip to Las Vegas. That would make sense as one of the pairs ended their storyline with an engagement.
Based on numbers alone, a sequel would be a good idea for Screen Gems. Think Like a Man has raked in more than $40.9 million, debuting at #1 in the box office with more than $33.6 million in ticket sales.
The big challenge for a sequel would be getting all of the cast members back for another movie.
