Dentist removes all of ex’s teeth in revenge

One man has learned the hard way that it’s probably a bad idea to go to your very recent ex-girlfriend for dental work.

According to the Associated Press, a Polish dentist could be sentenced to three years in prison after pulling out all of her ex-boyfriend’s teeth. Reportedly 45-year-old Marek Olszewski went his ex, Anna Mackowiak, for dental surgery just three days after he dumped her, complaining of toothache.

At first, the 34-year-old dentist thought she could remain objective during the job despite their history, but heartbreak clouded her judgement. "I tried to be professional and detach myself from my emotions," Anna told The Austrian Times. "But when I saw him lying there I just thought, ‘What a bastard’ and decided to take all his teeth out."

Supposedly Anna gave Marek a heavy dose of anesthesia before locking the door of her office and proceeding to remove all of his teeth one-by-one. Marek, whose new girlfriend has dumped him because of his toothless appearance, wasn’t aware that anything out of the ordinary had happened until much later.

"I knew something was wrong because when I woke up I couldn’t feel any teeth and my jaw was strapped up with bandages," he said, recounting how she had consulted with him after the surgery. "She told me my mouth was numb and I wouldn’t be able to feel anything for a while and that the bandage was there to protect the gums, but that I would need to see a specialist."

Marek didn’t see anything wrong with going to Anna for help, stating, "I didn’t have any reason to doubt her, I mean I thought she was a professional."

Now the heartbreaker’s main concern is how much it’s going to cost to fix his mouth. "I’m going to have to pay a fortune on getting indents or something," he said.

Anna is being investigated for medical malpractice; it’s not clear whether she’ll lose her license.
