The Queen of Disco, Donna Summer, has lost her battle with cancer.
TMZ.com reports that Donna died this morning at the age of 63. The five-time Grammy winner was supposedly staying in Florida at the time of her death. Her passing may come as a shock to many, but insiders said that Donna was trying to hide how serious her condition was.
With hits like "She Works Hard for the Money," "Bad Girls," "Hot Stuff," "Heaven Knows" and "Last Dance," Donna’s name was synonymous with disco.
Sources told TMZ, however, she was actually working an album when she passed away.
Donna is survived by her daughters and husband Bruce Sudano, whom she married in 1980.
S2S is reaching out to her family for comment and we will keep you posted.
