Beyoncé’s showing the world how hard she’s working to get ready for her return to the stage.
When Bey blesses the crowd at the Revel Resort in a few days, she’ll have put in long hours behind the scenes to make sure that her performance is up to snuff. The "Love On Top" singer has set the bar very high afterall.
“It is exciting. I’m feeling a little nervous," Bey said of the shows, which kick off tonight in Atlantic City. "I’m enjoying being a mother so it’s like going back to an old job."
Although Beyoncé can identify with women fresh off of maternity leave, she acknowledged that moms to retain some semblance of their own identity outside of being a mom. "It’s a little strange, but it’s important that you don’t lose yourself," she mused, "that you have your own passions and I’m back to work. I’m back to business."
She’s got a lot of business to get back to! From dance rehearsals and musical arrangement, to stage design and shooting movies for screen displays, Bey has her hands in every aspect of the Revel shows. No matter how long her hours might be, she’s still learning to strike a balance like any working mom.
"What I am trying to say with this show is ‘Yes, I had a baby and it just made me even more grounded and more like you.’"
This isn’t the first time that Bey’s gotten candid with her fans. Check out some of her personal pics in the slideshow below!
