There may still be some hope for the strained friendship of Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada, who admitted she misses her former BFF.
“I miss her. We were friends for 10 years. I was in her wedding … and you’re thinking you guys are going to do this show together, your BFF, and then you’re kind of like, ‘What happened?’” Evelyn told Vibe.com.
The friendship between the two “Basketball Wives” stars started its decline when Jennifer publicly criticized Evelyn’s fiancé Chad Ochocinco. In retaliation, Evelyn aired Jennifer’s dirty laundry on-air, telling the world that she’d cheated on her husband and engaged in unsafe sex.
“I said some things and I was just like, that was not cool. I live by loyalty and I feel like at that point I broke the friend code. I should have never broken that code and I should have never stooped down to that level,” she said, admitting that her emotions got the best of her.
“Now that the show is done and things are calming down, I’m not angry anymore about it, and I don’t hate her at all,” Evelyn said.
While she admits that she has a bit of a temper, Evelyn said she’s learning to handle things better.
“I’ve learned a lot from the situation,” she said. “I can look at [the show] and say, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t have handled it like that. Maybe I shouldn’t have thrown that bottle at Kenya [Moore],’” she explained.
Some viewers plan to boycott the upcoming series, "Ev & Ocho,” because they don’t believe the reality star’s violence should be rewarded, but Evelyn insisted fans will see another side of her when the show airs.
“You get to see me with the family, Chad with the family, our kids, the issues we are having. It’s two totally different shows and two totally different things that the world will get to see when it comes to me,” she said.
