‘Basketball Wives’ recap: 6.12.12

    Love & Football

The show might be called "Basketball Wives," but two of the women on the show have been involved with football players this season.

Everybody knows that Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco have been planning their big day for well over a year, but they’ve got some different ideas about how things should go.

Meanwhile, Royce Reed had a few things to say about her decision to stay with Dezmon Briscoe at the time. Royce announced their split on Saturday, but see why she initially wanted to stick around.

    Tami vs. Kesha…again

There’s a method to Tami Roman’s madness. In Tahiti, it seemed like Tami was gunning for Kesha Nichols, but she was just trying to get Kesha to stand up for herself.

Tami said the way she went about it may not have been the most effective, but she wanted to give Kesha a chance to snap. The discussion of their spat in paradise deteriorated into a debate about whether or not Tami is a bully. We can’t say there was really a winner there, but Tami definitely talked the loudest.

And did we catch Kesha calling out Suzie Ketcham for being a blabber mouth?!  At least someone finally said it.

    Drop the suit!

Shaunie O’Neal is making a final plea for Jennifer Williams to drop her suit against Nia Crooks.

Nia and Jen were friends at point, but not anymore. The two went from being close enough to share house keys to being so at odds that Nia slapped Jen in the face.

Since Jen’s not a fighter, she took her dispute to court, which Shaunie argues is a gross overreaction to a "mistake."

Jennifer and Evelyn hug it out

They’ve been at each other’s throats all season, and Jen and Evelyn swear there’s no patching up their relationship.

At least that’s what they say. A polygraph test revealed that the former BFFs actually miss each other.

Though neither of them were willing to bridge the gap between them, host John Salley got the ladies to meet in the middle for a tearful hug.

Will there be a season 5?

It’s expected that "Basketball Wives" will be back for season 5, but Shaunie doesn’t sound so sure.
