Keri Hilson, Ludacris renovate an Atlanta high school

To help promote the "Bing Summer of Doing," celebrities Ludacris and Keri Hilson joined the search engine Bing and its partners, DoSomething.org, to inspire young people to give back and volunteer in their local communities during their free time this summer.

The musicians worked to help restore and renovate Atlanta’s Osborne High School, at which more than 87 percent student body is eligible for free lunches. The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer assisted in creating a mural designed to inspire and empower young girls. The artwork beautifully displayed her own quote: “dream in color, wake up to a blank canvas, then paint your life with all the colors your heart desires.”

While Keri helped uplift the girls, rapper Luda lent a hand in creating a Do Something That Matters mural in the school’s cafeteria in addition to actively working with various volunteers throughout the day.

When the two artists aren’t helping the little ones, they’re working of course. Ludacris is currently in the studio working on his new album Ludaversal. As for Keri, the singer/songwriter tried to keep her upcoming projects on the down low, but hinted that she is in the process of working with hit-maker Timbaland.

The positive campaign is taking place in celebration of the new Bing. It kicked off earlier this month at Heart of Los Angeles and will continue to New York and Chicago during the remainder of the summer.
