Stevie J pops the question
Business got really personal on the latest episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."
This is the second time we’ve seen Stevie try to do something that looks sweet only to have it blow up in his face. Why? Mimi knows that his gifts aren’t as simple as they appear; there’s always some ulterior motive attached to his presents.
Now, Stevie wants Mimi to join his company, however he’s only willing to give her a little bit of it. He thinks five percent is good enough, but Mimi’s got bigger ideas.
If he’s going to be messing with Joseline, Mimi’s going to make him pay for it.
Who’s the boss?
There were a few unpleasant surprises in store for Joseline this week on "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." First she hasn’t gotten her "fairy godmother" (read: period) this month, but she hasn’t been keeping a close count on the days.
Whether it’s three weeks or a month, the point is that Joseline is late. Real late. Stevie doesn’t seem very concerned with the news (and what its possible consequences) at the moment, since he’s about to drop a major bomb.
As Joseline’s in the middle of fighting with her manager Stevie, in walks Mimi Faust with the news that she’s now her new boss too.
Stevie has brought Mimi into his business as a co-manager, and that means that Mimi’s going to be calling some shots in Joseline’s career. Pay back is a b!#ch.
Joseline vs. Karlie Redd
The first order of business for Mimi is to get her friend Karlie Redd in the studio with Stevie. Neither Stevie nor Joseline is too happy about that prospect because they’re both mad at the Trinidadian singer for telling Mimi that they’ve got something going on outside of the studio.
The difference is that Stevie’s not going to run up on Karlie at the gym. Joseline will.
The former stripper busted up Karlie’s workout to stake her claim on Stevie’s time.
Married to the manager
Working with your boo might seem like a great idea at first: You’re both working for each other’s best interest and you like your co-worker.
But what happens when you have a disagreement at work? Rasheeda and her hubby Kirk Frost just found out.
The results are in…
The producers must have known that people were questioning whether Joseline is a real woman, so this pregnancy drama was edited at just the right time.
While Joseline is reeling from the revelation that she is with child, all Stevie’s focused on is the money. He wants to know how this baby, should she choose to keep it, will affect business. When no immediate answers come, he just wants to know who got Joseline pregnant.
Although the viewing audience saw this one coming a mile away, the music producer/manager didn’t.
So who’s the father? Joseline revealed that the only man she’s been sleeping with for the last six months is Stevie. Boom!
