LeToya Luckett talks film role and new music

LeToya Luckett will be showing off her acting chops later this year when her romantic comedy Note to Self hits theaters.
LeToya plays a single mother named Paula Whittaker in the film that is described as a "coming of age film in the vein of Love & Basketball meets Good Will Hunting," by the Internet Movie Database.
Letoya has been acting for a few years now and it is something that she is very serious about.
“I love acting. I’m very, very, very, very, very passionate about it,” she said in a recent interview with Bossip. “I have a coach. I go to classes. I read up on it. I study it. I love it.”
But she hasn’t forgotten about the talent that has gotten her to where she is today: singing.
“Of course, you know singing’s my first baby,” she said. “Expect an album very, very soon.”
After talking business, LeToya got a little personal and discussed her romantic life. She is currently single and happy.
“I love being in love. Being in love is fun, but I’m single,” she said. “I’m enjoying it. I’m getting to know Toya better… coming into my own.”
She may be enjoying the single life, but that’s not to suggest she’s not interested in being in a relationship.
“Am I ready to be in a relationship? It would be cute with the right person. I don’t want to rush into something and then it’s just like ‘womp, womp, womp.’”
“I would rather wait on the man God has for me,” she added.
