There is a new Kardashian to keep up with and her name is Penelope Scotland Disick. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick welcomed their baby girl early Sunday morning in Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome out precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably,” Kardashian told E! News.
According to mom, Kris Jenner, Kourtney had an “easy delivery” with her 7 pounds, 14 ounces baby girl. “[Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She’s so beautiful. We are so happy,” Kris told E! News.
Kris isn’t the only family member gushing over the new edition. Late Sunday, Kim took to her blog and wrote: "Kourtney gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter…and the whole family is so thrilled to f
Looks like Kim is also taking on the role as “auntie” to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 6-month-old daughter Blue Ivy. According to The Enquirer, Kim bought Blue a $5,000 diamond-studded baby bracelet with the engraving, “Love Auntie Kim.”
Reportedly, Bey isn’t too fond of the gesture, according to The Enquirer. “She thought it was over-the-top, considering she’s known Kim personally for such a short time,” the source said. “She certainly doesn’t consider Kim family in any way, shape or form, and for Kim to suggest that closeness in a present for Blue Ivy really put Beyoncé off.”
It’s been speculated for a while that Beyoncé’ has been keeping Kim at a distance which would explain why many people thought Bey was “throwing shade” at Kim during the BET Awards.
Some suggest Kim is trying to spoil Blue Ivy to form a closer relationship with Bey. “She believes Kim is trying to buy her friendship through her daughter, and she’s cooling to their friendship. Right now, Beyoncé is on her guard. She’s keeping her distance until she feels more trusting of Kim,” a source told The Enquirer.
