There’s word that Tameka Foster may have to make the heart-wrenching decision of whether to take her son off of life support.
According to TMZ.com, Tameka may be forced to pull the plug on her son Kile Glover, 11, who was declared brain dead after getting hit by a jet ski earlier this month while floating in an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Georgia.
A teenage girl, who has suffered a broken arm and lacerations to the head, was in the tube with him at the time when a family friend ran into the kids. Both children were rushed to the hospital.
Kile is currently on life support, which is currently being paid for through Tameka’s insurance. However, a source told TMZ that insurance may only cover the expensive medical cost for a few more months at best. Reportedly, Tameka can’t otherwise afford to keep Kile on life support and she may have no other option but to take him off of it.
Despite their differences, Usher rushed down to Atlanta to be by Tameka’s side as his stepson battles for his life.
"Tameka and Usher don’t get along, but in this circumstance Usher is coming to her side," a source told Us Weekly. "Usher practically raised Kile as his own. He’s known him for seven years. It is so sad what happened."
While Usher has offered Tameka moral support during this difficult time, he has reportedly not offered any financial support to help her pay medical expenses.
In the meantime, Tameka is leaning on her faith and is believing for a miracle in her son’s recovery.
