"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" might be down one cast member next season, but who’s leaving? And what’s Diamond got to do with it?
Rasheeda’s hubby/manager Kirk Frost plans on taking a step back from the show should the show be renewed, according to StraightFromTheA.com. With more than 3.5 million viewers there’s a good chance the show will get picked up for season 2.
But when the show returns, the casts only functional couple will not be present as Kirk may be bowing out to save his marriage and his image. Kirk, who supposedly had his doubts about joining the show in the first place, is not entirely happy with how he’s being represented on the show.
Since he’d rather be behind the scenes than in front of the cameras, he’s stepping back to let Rasheeda shine on her own.
Although Rasheeda and Kirk’s working relationship seems to be on the rocks on "LHHA," their marriage is doing just fine.
As one cast member leaves, there are rumors that two more cast members might be joining the show, and it’s a doosie! Despite her assertion that joining "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" was not the right move for her as an established artist, STFA hinted that Diamond could be changing her tune.
If she does join the show, there are whispers that she’ll be bringing backup in the form of her new boo Soulja Boy.
In the past Diamond has denied being cast for the show, though she was in talks. She has even said that it would have been a bad look for her. She did mention, though, that the idea of her and Soulja getting their own show had been briefly discussed.
She has yet to comment on this latest round of gossip, linking her to "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." If the rumors are to be believed, then next season will be explosive for rapper Lil Scrappy, who’s had a lot to say about Diamond since the show began in June.
