“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star K.Michelle has some words of advice for Toya Wright, the wife of the man K.Michelle has accused of abuse.
“I’m very proud with everything she’s accomplished, but the constant jabs and talking bad about a woman that you’ve never seen in your life. It’s okay to ride or die for your man, but know what you’re riding for,” K.Michelle told the DJs at Power 107.5.
After revealing that MeMpHiTz Wright, K.Michelle’s ex and Toya’s hubby, abused her in the past, Toya defended her man; but K.Michelle criticized Toya for attacking her in the process.
“I really have had a lot of respect for Toya, but when you start to bash another woman who you’ve never seen, then you lose my respect,” she said.
K.Michelle said she opts not to get involved in a back-and-forth with the couple. She chooses instead to handle it with a dose of humor.
“I’m always gonna laugh about that. That was a dark place in my life,” she said. “I think the best way to deal with it is to ignore it, but I embrace a lot of things with laughter because I think a lot of my life has been spent crying. You gotta crack jokes and laugh about some things.”
K. said she hasn’t spoken to Toya or MeMpHiTz since she first shared her story, and despite rumors that she and MeMpHiTz might come face to face on the show’s reunion show, she doesn’t plan to talk to him.
“I have not spoken to him, and I don’t plan on it, and I truly still don’t wish him any bad. I’m just trying to deal with what I was left with of my life. I’m trying to fix that,” she said.
