The latest episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" was all about talking things out.
Communication is key any relationship and just about every couple on the show had some major things to discuss.
Joseline and Stevie
Stevie was less than pleased to find out that Joseline had gone behind his back to work with another producer. While we can’t knock Joseline for wanting to branch out, perhaps it wasn’t the smartest idea for her to be doing that at Stevie’s studio.
That’s like someone cheating on their spouse in the couple’s bed right after their other half leaves for work. You’re basically asking to get caught!
Joseline feels like Stevie wants everything she’s got to offer personally, professionally and physically. As of this taping she doesn’t seem to be interested in giving him all of that, though.
Rasheeda and Kirk
Rasheeda and her husband Kirk Frost hit a pretty sour note last week when she revealed that she’s reconsidering her management. Being that Kirk is her manager it was an uncomfortable situation, and Rasheeda wasn’t about to let it get even worse.
In an effort to work things out and get her other half to understand where she’s coming from, Rasheeda got up early to make sure she had a sit-down with Kirk. What offended her most was the idea that he could question her love for him, and it came out that the couple had even put off having kids for the good of her career.
But it didn’t take long for Rasheeda and Kirk to come to a decision about how to fix their relationship. These two may not always be in tune, but theirs is healthiest, most functional relationship on the show.
Benzino and Karlie
It’s still pretty early in the game for Karlie Redd and Benzino, but she’s sleeping over at his place so much that he gave her a key to the house.
Benzino admits that he wants to speed things up because he thinks he’s found a keeper in Karlie, but she wants to slow things down on the advice of her manager. A manager, who usually doesn’t have time to see or speak to his client, we’d like to point out.
But as soon as Karlie’s rep found out she was messing with Benzino, he suggested that she break things off because it could be career suicide. When Karlie relayed that message to Benzino, he didn’t take it so well.
In fact, he said that for her manager to be giving her that type of advice he needs to have given her a hit record because, in Benzino’s opinion, it’s not like she’s that hot in the industry herself.
That definitely gave Karlie, who we’re pretty sure fell asleep in her false eyelashes, a bit of a shock. But what did she expect? She dropped a pretty big bomb on her new boo just moments after her served her breakfast in bed and offered a key to his place.
Bad timing seems to be a running gag on this show!
K.Michelle gets dating advice
K.Michelle has a much different dating dilemma: She’s still looking for Mr. Right, but she seems to be finding all the wrong dudes.
After a chat with one of her exes, K came to the conclusion that what she wants and what she’s going after are two different things. She wants a good man, but she keeps measuring her suitors by the wrong qualities: looks, money and career.
Mimi and Stevie
Stevie J may have tried to woo Mimi Faust back to love by dedicating a song to her at ATL Live!, but she still wasn’t feeling his attempts to get her back.
So instead of talking things out between the two of them as usual, Mimi dragged her babydaddy in for a couch session with Dr. Jeff Gardere. The clinical psychologist got Stevie to admit in so many words that he is a liar. "Yeah, I’m a liar," Stevie said.
He also admitted that although he loves her, he’s not in love with her because she won’t let him get too close anymore.
Oh, but wait! There was more to their couples’ therapy session as both Stevie and Mimi admitted that they have mommy issues.
