U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team wins gold at 2012 London Olympics

The U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team has just won its second gold medal ever at the 2012 London Olympics!

Just call them the Fab Five!

Gabrielle Douglas, Alexandra Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney took the top spot at the Gymnastic Women’s team final with a score of 183.596. Russia came in second with 178.530, and Romania was third with 176.414.

This means they’ve brought home the first gold medal for team women’s gymnastics since the Magnificent Seven in 1996!

Before clinching the victory Gabby’s last tweet before helping her team win gold was a scripture, Matthew 6:33, which states, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
