Rihanna may have snagged a little face time with Chris Brown before her interview with Oprah Winfrey aired.

Rihanna revealed during her episode of "Oprah’s Next Chapter" that she and Chris are back on decent terms and that she has forgiven him. She even confirmed reports that they both attended a private party on a yacht in St. Tropez, but neglected to mention anything about their rumored canoodling on the boat.

The Sun reports that Chris and Rihanna are getting along so well that there’s word the former couple met up before her chat with Oprah aired. “They are getting on really well at the moment and spent time catching up and relaxing," a source said. “He’s watched clips of her interview with Oprah and seems to be touched.”

The rendezvous could fall in line with a statement from one of Chris’ reps who said Chris had seen a segment of the interview where RiRi breaks down in tears over their fight.

In other Chris and Rihanna news, there’s speculation that the chat on "Oprah’s Next Chapter" rubbed his mother Joyce Hawkins the wrong way. Shortly after the show aired, she posted a crypitic messages on Twitter that implied someone still had something to hide.

"TELL THE TRUTH AND SET YOURSELF FREE," Joyce tweeted. "NOT UNTIL YOU TELL THE TRUSTH WILL YOU EVER BE FREE!!!!!! PEACE SOMETIMES COMES WITH A PRICE."

She added, "BE POSITIVE IT CAN AND WILL HELP SOMEONE."

It was assumed by many that Joyce was tweeting to Rihanna, though she didn’t name any names or address a specific Twitter handle. “MY STATEMENTS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GENERAL AND WILL REMAIN THAT WAY," Joyce said.
