Former NFL star, Warren Sapp, blames Evelyn Lozada for the incident that happened between her and estranged husband Chad Ochocinco.
According to Warren, there’s at least one “fact” that sheds doubt on Evelyn’s story that Chad head-butted her: Men don’t head-butt.
“When was the last time one of your homeboys called you and told you, ‘Let me tell you about this fight at the club last night where this guy and his girlfriend were walking by and he turned around and head-butted the girl’? Never,” explained Warren.
“He’s taking the rap for it. We don’t do that. She did it,” Warren told the Miami Times News.
While his logic is that men don’t normally resort to head-butting, he also pointed out a somewhat contradictory point.
According to Warren, Evelyn’s attractiveness is one reason for her popularity and success. With that in mind, he unintentionally raised the question of why she would use her head as a weapon.
“That’s a woman that is going to depend on her beauty for the rest of her life to open any door she wants to walk through, and she is going to do what to her forehead? I’m done.”
Warren, who was accused of domestic battery in 2010, admitted that he’s not exactly objective when it comes to the drama between Evelyn and Chad. He’s a Chad fan.
“I was rooting for him. When Chad had that first press conference on ‘Hard Knocks,’ I thought to myself, ‘This isn’t good.’ The coaches came to him and let him know he can’t do this; he represents the organization, etc… He didn’t know if this was his first strike, second strike, what it was. They were setting him up,” Warren said.
While Chad has been active on Twitter since the incident, Evelyn has remained relatively silent; but that didn’t keep cameras from snapping pictures of the “Basketball Wives” star on a secluded beach recently.
According to TMZ, when images of her were leaked, Evelyn and her daughter left Florida and headed to Barbados.
In the photos, Evelyn is wearing a hat, and it’s been reported that she’s worn one ever since the head-butting incident occurred earlier this month.
