Chad finally files divorce papers

Chad Johnson has admitted defeat in the fight to save his marriage and conceded that it is "irretrievably broken."

On Wednesday, Chad granted Evelyn the divorce she’s been seeking, TMZ.com reports.

This is a complete turn around from just a few weeks ago when he got a tattoo of his estranged wife’s face on his calf and stated that he intended to remain married.

Too bad for him that Florida is one of the states where a divorce can be finalized without his consent.

All told, Chad and Evelyn’s marriage lasted about 40 days. The pair wed on July 4, and she filed for divorce on August 15. There were reports that Chad had been working to get Evelyn back.

This comes along with rumors that Chad hooked up with another woman yesterday during the time his attorney was in court entering a not guilty plea on Chad’s behalf.

According to RadarOnline.com, Chad, who was charged with domestic battery, invited one of his alleged mistresses to his home in Miami, where Evelyn still has clothes and other belongings. Supposedly, a witness spotted a red Volkswagen parked over night outside of Chad’s place. It’s speculated that the vehicle belongs to a woman named Bianca.

One thing that is certain, Chad took Bianca out for a bite when he was scheduled to be in court because Bianca tweeted, "Ihop with my lover… Yummm fattening!"

Bianca also bragged,"You know you’re a chocolate addict when you ate some last night, and eat some as soon as you wake up early in the morning."
