There’s word that VH1 has recruited a new player for "Basketball Wives."
With at least three members of the cast supposedly being booted from the team after last season, VH1 is looking to fill some spots on the roster.
TMZ.com reports that the network is looking to cast Tasha Marbury, who is married to Stephon Marbury. A source close to the show claims that VH1 thinks Tasha would be a perfect fit since she’s already friends with some of the other wives. Not to mention she would be the only cast member that is still with her baller.
Reportedly, Stephon wasn’t too hot about the idea when Tasha was asked to be on the first season of the series. But now that he’s playing for the Beijing Ducks in China, it seems he’s had a change of heart.
Neither Tasha, "Basketball Wives" producers nor the network have commented on the gossip at this time.
