Rocsi, Terrence bid farewell to ’106 & Park’

Pooch Hall, LaLa Anthony and Jim Jones joined Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz as the hosts bid farewell to “106 & Park.”

After 7 years on the music video countdown show, the duo took its final bow last week.

“We both came in here with a dream… We’ve always had this aspiration and to be here 7 years later, it’s very surreal,” said Terrence.

Terrence and Rocsi were the stars of the episode as Pooch and LaLa filled in as the hosts, interviewing the “106” celebrities about their time on show.

“I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined that I’d be able to experience some of the things that I’ve been able to. I’m just very humbled by that. I just really appreciate everything,” said Terrence who reminded viewers that he’ll be a correspondent on E! News.

Rocsi also expressed her gratitude and especially thanked Debra Lee, Stephen Hill and the “106” audience.

“The best part really is being able to influence so many people’s lives,” said Rocsi.

There’s been no official announcement yet about who will replace Terrence and Rocsi, but Rocsi encouraged viewers to continue to tune in.

“This is not the end of ’106 & Park.’ Please, please, please show a lot of love, and those two hosts who are going to be here on Monday are the best ones for the job,” she said.

However, there are rumors that rapper Bow Wow may be taking over. TheJasmineBrand.com is reporting that Mr. 106 & Park, the name jokingly bestowed on Bow Wow because of his numerous appearances on the show, will be trying his hand as host.
