The police put them cuffs on Lil Scrappy, who’s been locked up for a parole violation.
According to TMZ.com, Scrappy was arrested yesterday afternoon and promptly taken to a DeKalb County jail.
Scrappy informed his fans of the arrest by tweeting, "I just got locked up pray for me."
It’s not clear why Scrappy was arrested or what he did, but he is on a five-year probation for charges stemming from a marijuana conviction in 2008. Under the terms of his probation, he’s not allowed to have or use any illegal drugs (that would include pot) or liquor.
At the time of his marijuana arrest, he was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of an officer and fighting. He was then sentenced to a year of probation for each charge—sentences that ran concurrently.
