Bow Wow hides BET gig from court?

Bow Wow’s been ordered to pay back child support, but the court doesn’t know about his new TV gig.

There’s some dispute about how much money Bow Wow should shell out after getting behind on child support payments for his 1-year-old daughter, Shai. According to, the rapper-turned-TV-host agreed to pay $3,000 a month after some haggling with babymama Joie Chavis over his exact income and worth. The rapper was also ordered to pay $11,500 in back child support.

Supposedly, Bow Wow cried middle class as he told the judge that he only makes $4,000 a month at Cash Money Records. He claimed that he leases his Jeep and only has about $1,500 in his bank account.

This means that under the current child support deal, he’d only have about $1,000 to live on per mont as he would be paying out the majority of the income he claimed in court.

However, Bow Wow might not be hurting too bad financially, because shortly after he left court, BET officially named him one of the new hosts of "106 & Park." It’s not clear how much he’ll be making with that highly visible gig, which could make for some intense questioning when he returns to court in December.
