Teacher knocked out by teenager

A high school teacher in Pittsburgh is out of the hospital and recovering at home after being knocked unconscious by a teenager as the two crossed paths in an alley.

A 15-year-old has been taken in to custody and charged with simple assault, according to WTAE-TV. The boy’s parents brought him to authorities.

A group of teens is shown celebrating the sucker punch in this footage obtained by WTAE-TV and taken from one of several surveillance cameras that captured the broad daylight attack.

The video shows the five teenagers walking in the opposite direction of the man, when one of them steps in the man’s path and punches him in the head.

The teacher, 50-year-old Jim Addlespurger, hit his head on the concrete as he fell to the ground unconscious. Luckily for the unsuspecting teacher, three bystanders came to his aid, helping him to his feet until he was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police do not believe the teens were students at the school where Jim teaches, or that they even knew the man.

The suspect, whose name hasn’t been released, is being charged with assault.

Jim’s attackers were Black and many of those who’ve viewed the footage have commented with hate towards Blacks.

"Look honey! The NI**ERS are at it again!" wrote one YouTube user.
