Vivica A. Fox still single and ‘taking applications’

The talented Vivica A. Fox joined the hosts of "Access Hollywood" recently to talk about her love life, what she’s looking for in a man and her new Lifetime show.

Although many people have turned to online dating sites like Match.com to find their soul mates, Vivica said she’s never done that, and most likely never will.

"I think people lie on the Internet. I would prefer to meet someone in person, and I need to have chemistry when we meet and spend a little time, and have a couple of dates," she said.

For now, Vivica said she’s happily single.

"I’m gonna wait for Mr. Right to come along and take my time. I’m just enjoying just having a little me time, you know? But it’s not that I’m not taking applications," said Vivica whose engagement to Omar "Slimm" White ended last year.

As the host of the new TV show, "Prank My Mom" on Lifetime, Vivica might not be having as much time to herself after all.

"They catch these moms, and their reactions are so raw and so real," she said, describing the series. "There’s a lot of bleeping; they turn into mama bear."

The show will cater more to adults, and Vivica said ever since she announced she would be hosting the show, her Twitter timeline have been buzzing with so many people saying they want to prank their moms.

"They think it’s just a chance to get a laugh in [and] have a good time at mom’s expense…it’s a lot of fun situations," she said.

While it’s easy to laugh about it now, Vivica said she can relate to the moms because she was pranked by her friend Tichina Arnold years ago.

She said when Tichina was pregnant, she came to one of Vivica’s photo shoots and pretended that her water broke, and then what Vivica described as the "paramedics from Hell" showed up. Instead of tending to Tichina’s needs, they wanted to snap pictures of the two of them.

After realizing she had been punked, everyone told her they had been trying to get her for a while.

Catch Vivica and all the crazy antics on "Prank My Mom" on Lifetime, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST. Get a preview below.
