Al Green fans don’t have much longer to see the crooner in concert during his 2012 tour.
There are only four more shows this month before the “Let’s Stay Together” singer takes a bow until the next go around.
Despite being a veteran in the music business, Al admitted that he still gets nervous when going on tour in front of his legion of fans.
“It doesn’t matter if I’m singing to a small crowd or a big crowd—I still get the chill bumps,” Al told The Washington Times before the tour launched.
“You’re nervous. Coming up on the tour dates, you start biting your nails going to puck up the tuxedos. Until you yell, ‘Hello Chicago,’ … then it all goes away.
Al’s tour stopped in the Washington, D.C. area in August, and General Motors sponsored a reception for several DC media “stars.”
