Victoria Rowell not wanted at CBS?

“Young and the Restless” fans who were holding out hope that Victoria Rowell would return to the daytime soap as Drucilla Winters, may need to let that dream die.

“…bringing back character DRU WINTERS is NOT the creative direction Young & Restless is going in,” tweeted Victoria, sharing a statement from Sony TV Senior Vice President Steve Kent.

The actress left “Y&R” in 2007, but since her character fell off a cliff and the body was never found, there was hope that Drucilla might one day reappear. Since her departure, fans and Victoria have made it known that they miss the character.

Unfortunately, Victoria tweeted that CBS doesn’t miss her quite as much.

“Head of Diversity at CBS, Josie Thomas asks if I can find work w/ another Network? CBS helmer, Leslie Moonves does not want me affiliated,” she wrote.
