Bobbi Kristina wants to record with Whitney

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is looking to break into the music business by releasing a post-mortem duet with Whitney next year.

Bobbi’s got her heart set on re-recording Whitney’s 1985 hit "Saving All My Love for You," according to The National Enquirer.

Sources say that she wants to record that song because it "started her mother on the road to success and believes it can do the same for her," said the source.

Bobbi plans to keep Whitney’s vocals on the song and add some of her own, much like Natalie Cole who did the same with her father’s song "Unforgettable."

But Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston and grandmother Cissy Houston don’t think she should record the duet at all. Instead, they think she should work with a vocal coach instead of rushing into stardom on her mother’s coattails. Plus, Bobbi’s voice is huskier than Whitney’s, and sources say their voices just won’t match up.

All systems aren’t a go just yet, Bobbi will have to get the rights to her mother’s song before she can start recording the duet.
