Kenya: “That’s the least you can do, is get my title right.”
Kenya Moore is ready to step into her role as an Atlanta socialite, so when she’s approached by Porsha Stewart and invited to a “ladies only” charity event, she’s happy to do it. The two meet for lunch and things start off pleasant until Porsha starts asking Kenya about her personal life.
Every single woman over 40 wants to be grilled by a 20-something about her lack of a husband and kids. That’s exactly the way to forge a friendship, except that it’s not.
Kenya took offense to Porsha’s questions and suggestions that included talk about fertility treatments.
A clearly annoyed Kenya, held her tongue and ended the lunch without incident, but the damage may have already been done.
“She seemed very young and maybe a little naïve,” Kenya said.
Things only go downhill from there once Kenya actually arrives at Porsha’s event and is introduced as a Miss America.
“That’s the least you can do, is get my title right.”
