Authorities in Los Angeles are looking for Mike Epps after the actor/comedian was reportedly involved in a nightclub brawl in which a shot was fired.
Mike, best known for his role as Day-Day in Ice Cube’s Friday movies, was celebrating his birthday at Tru nightclub in Hollywood on Monday night, when a fight broke out between his entourage and a group of club goers, according to TMZ.com.
The fight began when Mike got into a heated verbal exchange with a man who had been heckling the Hangover star near his table. Both parties hurled drinks at each other as they made their way outside of the club, the Huffington Post reported.
One eyewitness told TMZ that one of the men involved fired off a “warning shot” which sent the crowd into a panicked frenzy. The 42-year-old star was said to have jumped in his car and fled the scene after the brawl got out of hand.
Mike had only been at the club for a short while when the melee broke out, according to globalgrind.com.
The incident comes only a week after eccentric comedian Katt Williams was involved in a brawl outside of an Oakland nightspot.
