Halle Berry wants her ex-beau Gabriel Aubry to steer clear of her and their daughter.
The Cloud Atlas star will reportedly head to court tomorrow to request an emergency restraining order against her babydaddy.
This follows a rather rough weekend for Halle and her family after a fight broke out between Gabriel and her fiancé Olivier Martinez on Thanksgiving Day. Both men were injured in the brawl outside of Halle’s Beverly Hills home. Things popped off as Gabriel was dropping off daughter Nahla.
It’s not clear what sparked the fight, but both men were taken to the hospital following their scuffle. However, Gabriel seems to have come out a little worse for wear as he was spotted sporting a black eye. People.com reports that Olivier came away with a swollen hand.
The male model was charged with misdemeanor battery in the incident. Although he was released on $20,000 bond, he is expected back in court on December 13 for arraignment.
In the meantime, the Los Angeles County Department of Family and Children Services will be re-opening the abuse investigation involving Halle and Gabriel’s daughter Nahla, according to RadarOnline.com.
“Detectives from the LAPD formally contacted [Child Protective Services] after Gabe’s arrest, because Nahla was present when the fight occurred,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online, clarifying that Nahla wasn’t directly in harm’s way. "Nahla wasn’t actually involved in the melee, and by all accounts, Halle whisked her out of the driveway as soon as the fight between Olivier and Gabe started."
The insider added, "DCFS was contacted because there has been a history of allegations of physical abuse. Social workers will be interviewing Halle, Gabriel and Olivier about what happened on Thanksgiving. DCFS must ensure that Nahla’s environment is safe."
