Keyshia lacks the ‘romance’ gene

When it comes to romance, Keyshia Cole said hubby Daniel Gibson is the one in their relationship who knows what to do.

The singer recently told Sister 2 Sister that he went all out one Valentine’s Day and expressed his affection with gifts and sweet gestures.

“He filled the room with rose petals. He spelled ‘Daniel loves you,’ and he had a bunch of teddy bears downstairs in our theater with candy and a video message that he had recorded just explaining how much he loved me and how much he cares, and he bought me a Camaro with pink tires, and I believe a necklace,” she said.

On the other hand, Keyshia joked that the most romantic thing she’s done for Daniel is have his child.

“Romantically, I am so not good with it, though,” she said, wondering where her man learned to sweep a woman off her feet.

In addition to the gifts and declarations of love, Keyshia said Daniel also shows his feelings in subtle and more important ways.

“It’s a lot of hard work,” she said about marriage. “It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s also very loving and very kind and very supportive, very reliant.”

“When I cry, when I’m hurt from things that people do, he’s always there to support me,” she said.
