‘Django Unchained’ gets four Oscar noms

    Django Unchained got lots of love from the Academy this award season with several Oscar nods.

    There’s a good chance that Django Unchained could become an Academy Award Winning film. When nominations for the 85th Annual Academy Awards came out today, the movie was named in four different categories.

    Django Unchained is up for Best Original Screenplay, Achievement in Cinematography and Achievement in Sound Editing. The film is also up for the big prize of the night: Best Motion Picture.

    While Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington and Samuel Jackson weren’t nominated for any individual awards, Christopher Waltz got an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actor.  

    In other Oscar news, Denzel Washington has been nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor thanks to his work in Flight. Find out who the Oscars go to when the 85th Annual Academy Awards air February 24.
