‘Love & Hip Hop’ recap: 1.15.13

People couldn’t quite see eye-to-eye on the latest episode of "Love & Hip Hop."

    Round 1: Raqi vs Joe

It seemed like everywhere you looked this week on "LHH" someone was having a struggle.

For starters, Raqi Thunda is still mad at Joe Budden for siding with Tahiry, but he thinks he did her a favor. When Raqi chose to surprise Joe while preparing for a show, it ended in a shouting match.

Raqi said he wasn’t being a true friend to her, but Joe argues that he kept Tahiry from  opening a model-sized can of whoop a*s.

Round 2: Jen "The Pen" Bayer vs. Consequence

Who knew cake and ice cream could start a fight?

Jen "The Pen" Bayer comes from a world where women don’t have to worry about paying for anything because their man has it covered. She, however, linked up with a man that expects her to pay her fair share. Rather unfortunately for the new mom, she hasn’t got any money since she doesn’t have a job.

The problem is only compounded by the fact that Consequence seems to adhere to golden rule #2: He who has the gold makes the rule.  Consequently, Jen and Cons wind up fighting about money a lot.

Her solution? Cons should just let her use his card whenever she wants for whatever she wants. But he don’t hear her, though.

Round 3: Joe vs his addiction

Joe realizes that he was a little wrong for the way he handled Raqi, and he believes that it had something to do with the fact that he was high on birthday.

The deeper issue here isn’t the dust up at the house, but that he has relapsed after 14 years of being clean and sober.

Round 4: Rich Dollaz vs Erica Mena

All Rich Dollaz wanted to do was take Erica Mena out for a nice night on the town.

While Rich was thinking romance, Erica had her mind on her money. The model proposed that she get on a track with Lore’l, but Rich doesn’t see that as a good career move.

"One wrong move, and it puts you back in model world forever," Rich reasons.

It’s not clear whether music will be Erica’s out of model world, but she’s convinced that a record with Lore’l will be just the thing to get her a little more shine.

    Round 5: Erica vs Lore’l

Erica might have had her mind set on doing a song with Lore’l earlier in the episode, but we have a feeling that plan went out the window after an ill-fated night at the club.

Things went left when Erica decided she was ready to head home, but Rich was still party rockin’.

Erica’s ire quickly shifted to Lore’l, who was trying to get the model to chill out instead of making demands.
