Police called to Chris Brown’s home

L.A. cops were called to Chris Brown’s home in Hollywood Hills yesterday after what seemed to be a 911 domestic dispute, only to find out it was a prank.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources reported that the caller said a mother and father were fighting and the father went to get a gun.
The Los Angeles Times reported that police were called around 5 p.m., but the caller never mentioned it was Chris’ house.
The “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer was not home when cops arrived, TMZ reports, and police found no evidence of a gun or any dispute at all.
Chris was charged with domestic abuse in 2009 against his then-girlfriend Rihanna, and the two have since rekindled their once toxic relationship, and have no problems letting the world know. The friends even released a song together on her Unapologetic album titled “Nobody’s Business.”
It seems the “Don’t Judge Me” star is just the latest victim of a “swatting” prank, where a caller gets police officers to raid the homes of celebrities.
Just last week a false report surfaced that a gunman was in the home of Kris and Bruce Jenner, and Beverly Hills police raided Tom Cruise’s home after an armed robbery hoax. Kim Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are other celebrities who fell victim to similar pranks.
