‘Cosby’ kids reunite on new NBC sitcom

It has been 30 years since two of the Huxtable girls, Rudy and Vanessa, acted side-by-side on the “Cosby Show.” Now Keshia Knight Pulliam and Tempestt Bledsoe reunite as sisters again on the NBC sitcom “Guys With Kids.”

Tempsett tells “Access Hollywood” that it was the producers’ idea to invite Keisha to the show. “I was through the roof. I’m like please; I would love to work with her again. I adore her,” said Tempsett when asked what she thought about Keshia filling in the sibling role again.

“Guys With Kids” is a sitcom about three friends who are also fathers trying to stay hip and raise their children in today’s environment. Tempestt is a main cast member named Marny, who is married to comedian Anthony Anderson on the show.

Keshia, who looks up to Tempestt as a sister in real life, tells “Access Hollywood” that working together came naturally because they are so close.“We see each other often so I do feel like you know it was definitely instant chemistry we never really lost,” Keisha added.

Although many years have gone by, the “Cosby Show” still airs on television. When the two were asked if they sit down and catch an episode from time to time, they agreed they both still watch.

“It’s kind of hard not to…I enjoy it,” said Keshia.

“I do watch them on occasion. I get in little kicks where I want to see them again and I see stuff I didn’t even see before,” said Tempestt.

Look out for the “Cosby Show” reunion, as “Guys with Kids” airs on Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c.
