Beyoncé announces world tour

Beyoncé’s Super Bowl half time show was just a warm up as the diva announced her plans for a world tour!

Hours after she left the field smoking from her halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII, Bey revealed that she’s got her eye on world domination for the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

Kicking off in Serbia on April 15, Bey will do her shows abroad for the first leg of the tour before touching down stateside for the US portion of her tour in June

And as if a Beyoncé concert wasn’t a big enough production to begin with, she’s teamed up with BET to maker her June 28 show in Los Angeles the kick off of the BET Experience at L.A. Live. She’s headlining the first of three nights at the Staples Center, which will lead up to this year’s BET Awards.

“This is the next step in our evolution of the BET Awards weekend.  I am proud to say that what we have planned is the greatest celebration of music, entertainment, and culture and I’m thrilled to have Beyoncé kick off our festivities,” said Debra Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks.  “We are pleased to have the perfect partner in AEG to pull off our inaugural BET Experience.”

Beyoncé announced her tour in a promo video, where she’s crowned and decked out in an Elizabethan-esque costume. Appropriately, she wears the face of her hubby Jay-Z in a sash that’s draped over her shoulders. Not surprisingly, a major piece of her wardrobe is a deep blue robe in a nod to her daughter Blue Ivy.
