LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett loved Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show just as much as everyone else did.
While the world went nuts about Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show, Destiny’s other children chimed in with their opinion on the phenomenal set.
Celebuzz.com caught up with original member LaTavia, who had nothing but good things to say about Bey’s brief reunion with Destiny’s Child. The singer noted that she was enjoying that tight game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers already, but seeing her old friend slay the stage made the night even better.
"Obviously, seeing Beyoncé perform was the highlight for me. I got a real surprise when both Kelly [Rowland] and Michelle [Williams] both popped-up on the stage like that," said LaTavia, who felt that Bey really shut the Super Dome down with her super-condensed, high-impact spectacular. "I thought they all looked great and did a good job with their dance moves. Beyoncé was especially amazing. She looked fabulous and her voice was really strong."
There were no hard feelings for LaTavia, who revealed that she was pleased to see the girls reunite, even if only for a few minutes.
"It was great to see them all performing together and I have no bitter or bad feelings toward any of those women. I wish them all the best," LaTavia said, adding that she and Kelly recently got a chance to hang out and chat on their own. "I actually saw Kelly at a mutual friend’s graduation in Atlanta last summer and we had fun catching up on old times."
LeToya immediately chimed in after Beyoncé got off the stage at Super Bowl XLVII with her praise for her former band mates, tweeting, "I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E. #soproud. The MOST entertaining Super Bowl I’ve ever seen in MY life from start to finish! #handsdown."
One person that wasn’t completely feeling Beyoncé’s halftime show was Keyshia Cole, who thought Michelle Williams was a blemish on the otherwise captivating performance. See what Keyshia had to say about Michelle when you flip through Daily Buzz 2.4.13 below!
