Mimi Faust was dealing with a lot of drama when she spoke to S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown for the March 2013 issue of Sister 2 Sister.
Stevie J bad-mouthed her and shoved his relationship with “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” co-star, Joseline Hernandez, in her face. A normal woman would be embarrassed and maybe even falling apart. Not Mimi.
Through the pain, she shares what lesson she’s learned from the dysfunctional romance with her child’s father.

Jamie: What are the lessons here, do you think?
Mimi: I think the biggest lesson would be, when you see the signs, don’t ignore them. Because the signs in your gut will never steer you wrong. A lot of times when I saw the signs and felt something, I would ignore it.
Jamie: What, for instance, would be a sign?
Mimi: When I knew he was lying to me and I just accepted what he said, for one. Things like that.
Jamie: Why did you accept that? Did you like him that much?
Mimi: I think I was just really trying to make our family work.
Jamie: You seem strong.
Mimi: I’m very strong. It’s so crazy how I’ve ben painted in the media, like I’m weak or whatever. I’m not weak by any means. I’ve been on my own since I was 13 years old. I’ve always worked. I’m nobody’s weak anything.
