Mimi Faust’s reps confirmed that things did get physical between Mimi and her “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” co-star K.Michelle.
It’s widely accepted that K. has a problem keeping her hands to herself when it comes to some of her co-stars, and rumors spread earlier in the week about an altercation that took place after Mimi confronted K. about suggesting that Mimi’s new man really likes women.
Reps from Mimi’s side and even K.Michelle herself have both confirmed that the rumors are in fact true, and Mimi’s reps even issued a statement about the incident that reportedly took place at B.B.King’s Blue’s Bar and Grill in New York.
“Ms. Faust is currently unharmed and never went to the hospital to be treated for a busted eardrum. The incident started in the dressing room where K. Michelle simply hit Ms. Faust with flowers after seeming a little irritated with questions about earlier statements made in a prior interview,” the statement read.
Mimi also put in her two cents in on the matter by insinuating that K.Michelle has a violent side and doesn’t know how to be adult and just talk things out.
“Recalling all of the past incidents with K.Michelle and other cast members, she never seems to want to talk things out; the end results are always violent. That’s not the type of person I am and to continue to fight with K. Michelle would have been pointless,” she said.
K.Michelle also took the time to confirm the altercation in a less traditional, but increasingly more popular way…her Twitter account. She tweeted, “You should not have brought your skinny ass 2my show talking crazy 2me. U got popped. U can’t get mad cuz I think ur boyfriend is down low. Defend yourself not a man u just met who is only using u 4 TV. I’ll hurt u with the truth before I tell u a lie. Ain’t nobody got time 4 that.”
While Mimi’s reps seem to be minimizing the melee, some reports suggest that slaps and punches were exchanged. “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” fans may get some clarity on it all when the new season premieres. Reportedly, the cameras were rolling.
The “I Just Can’t Do This” singer revealed that she’ll be cursing out a few more of her co-stars during season 2 of “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta,” and it looks like there will be a part two for the drama between her and Rasheeda. It seems like the next season is sure to be oozing with drama!
