Michelle Williams is denying that she’s ever made a slick comment about Keyshia Cole online.
When Keyshia accused Michelle of “f*ckin up the groove” during Beyoncé’s halftime show Super Bowl XLVII, she justified her comments by stating that Michelle had taken a shot at her in the past.
Michelle hasn’t directly denied those allegations until this week during a chat on Chicago’s V-103. “The unfortunate thing about social media [is] so many things can be fabricated. I did not tweet what was said that I tweeted. I already put that out there,” said Michelle before advising Always look at that persons original timeline. I do not delete tweets, so if you did not see it on my original timeline, you know that it did not come from me.”
She’s encouraged women to stick together, but this is the first time that she’s specifically moved to set the record straight. This may be the only time that Michelle directly addresses the accusations because she believes in “clearing it up and keeping it moving/”
As a spokeswoman for the anti-bullying organization National Voices for Equality, Enlightening, and Empowerment, Michelle asserted that she avoids saying mean things, stating, “I would never, ever…it’s too many people following you and I just don’t want to disappoint.”
