Critics of Chrihanna should know that it’s not lost on Chris Brown that he messed up big time when he struck Rihanna in 2009, and he considers it one of his biggest mistakes.

“That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake,” Chris told The Mirror. “She loves me. What can I say? I’m forgiven…but, yes, I worked hard for it.”

Many naysayers criticized Rihanna for allowing Chris to fall back into her good graces. The two began recorded music together again in 2012. After being spotted out partying with Rihanna on more than one occasion, Chris ended his relationship with Karrueche Tran and now Chris confirms that he and RiRi are officially a couple again.

“We are really happy,” he told the New York Post during a Grammy after party. “We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world.”

While many celebrities have defended their decision to reconcile, acknowledging that only the two of them really know what happened that night four years ago, others continue to judge and ridicule Chris and warn Rihanna against giving the singer another chance.

“If it’s a mistake [to reconcile with him], it’s my mistake,” she told Rolling Stone last month, displaying confidence that Chris has learned his lesson.

“He doesn’t have the luxury of f*_k!ng up again,” she said. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong, but I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that.”

Chris, who’s arguably received the brunt of the criticism, said it doesn’t really bother him anymore.

“People attack me and criticize me. It happens all the time, but they don’t know me, and they don’t know us,” he told The Mirror. “It doesn’t bother me anymore. Other people can judge us, but they don’t know anything.”

It’s probably a good thing that Chris has developed a tough skin, especially considering that an upcoming episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” is loosely based on the couple’s story.

Apparently, things between the two singers are going so well, that wedding plans are being made.

According to Star magazine, the nuptials will take place in July in Rihanna’s island home of Barbados.

“They want to celebrate their relationship with people who believe Chris has changed,” an anonymous source told Star. “They want tattoo artists, fire breathers and near-naked wait staff.”
