“We haven’t been picked up for a third season yet, so I’m not really sure where we are with it,” Gloria recently told HipHollywood.com.
“When the time is right, I think it’ll be about time for me to leave that show, anyway,” said Gloria, whose husband Matt Barnes co-signed on that idea.
Although Gloria and her sister, Laura Govan, have credited themselves with launching the L.A. version of the reality TV franchise in the first place, they’ve had to deal with quite a few on-screen altercations, both physical and verbal.
Gloria’s husband, Matt, already stepped away from the cameras, opting not to be filmed as part of the show’s sophomore season.
On top of that, the show’s executive producer, Shaunie O’Neal, hinted last year that “BBW:LA” might be ready for a cast makeover. However, it’s unclear whether the series will return at all. Either way, Gloria seems pretty certain she won’t be back.
“I probably most likely won’t be on ‘Basketball Wives: LA’ again,” said Gloria who has been working on establishing herself as an actress.
“I’m really excited about all the new upcoming projects Matt and I have going on,” she said.
