Get ready to bust out the tissues for the sequel to The Best Man! Terrence Howard said it may leave some viewers in tears.
ABC News Radio reports that while doing the press rounds for Dead Man Down, the actor revealed that things get a little dark in Best Man Holiday. “I think it’s going to be amazing film and I get teary-eyed thinking about it because there’s some tragedy in it. That’s all I’ll say,” Terrence told reports about the film.
But the dish did not end there! Terrence continued on, sharing the moral of the story.
“[Director and screenwriter] Malcolm Lee showed us what intelligent, young, black people were capable of in The Best Man I, ” he said. “The Best Man II, it shows where people go, whether they’re doing the right thing or the wrong thing, and how much we need each other within our community.”
